meager attempt consolation prize
the air conditioning was quite effective during a warm weekend.
The beautiful room felt recently renovated. the chocolates on the bed seemed like a meager attempt to distract from the overall experience. it was a basic offering, not exactly a decadent welcome, more like a consolation prize. i think they could have skipped it.

small room claustrophobic lift
my room was quite small (smaller than i'd hoped, honestly). also, the service lift was a bit of a nightmare. it felt really claustrophobic and the stairs were not fun, especially with luggage.

great location friendly staff small lift spiral staircase
the location was great for seeing central sights. many restaurants are very close. the staff was friendly and helpful .
the lift was very small and broke down a couple of times. i had to use the service lift from the fifth floor even though my room was on the sixth. the spiral staircase was very dangerous.
